St. Xaviers Collge

We were honoured to witness “Ripples of Hope,” supported by the St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association, at our Hatgachia - Dhapa Centre. The initiative brought joy and encouragement to our community through the distribution of sports kits, educational kits and new clothes to 20 women and 100 children.
At Tanuz Vocational Training Society (TVTS), such initiatives strengthen our commitment to women empowerment and child development, creating meaningful opportunities for learning, confidence and holistic growth. We sincerely thank the St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association for their valuable support and for helping us create a positive and lasting impact in the lives of our beneficiaries

We were delighted to host The Better India at our Hatgachia - Dhapa Centre for a special feature on our "Khudey- The Little One" Initiative, with the participation of 90 mothers and 100 children from the community.
The team captured the spirit of our work and documented the experiences of our beneficiaries, highlighting TVTS’s commitment to women empowerment, child development and community upliftment. A complete reel on the Khudey Initiative was subsequently featured, helping us share our story and create greater awareness about the positive impact being created at the grassroots level

It was truly an honour and a deeply humbling experience for Tanuz Vocational Training Society (TVTS) to receive an invitation from the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation to showcase the handcrafted creations of our women’s cluster.
Presenting products created by our skilled women artisans on such a prestigious platform was a proud milestone in our journey towards women empowerment, sustainable livelihoods and social inclusion. It provided a meaningful opportunity to showcase their talent, craftsmanship and creativity while strengthening our belief that skills, when connected with the right opportunities and markets, can create dignity, confidence and financial independence.
A heartfelt thank you to Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Kolkata, for giving Tanuz Vocational Training Society (TVTS) the wonderful opportunity to participate in “Convergence 2026,” organised by Sushila Birla Girls’ School (SBGS).
